THE LUCKY WINNING TICKET WILL BE DRAWN AT THE GOLF CLUBS SEASON ENDING EVENT, THE SENIORS TOURNAMENT, THIS SEPTEMBER. (The winner will be contacted, no need to be present. Delivery will be included if in the VB or Winnipeg area, otherwise transportation of the artwork is the responsibility of the winner. If the winner is in Toronto, Andrew may be able to bring it back with him.)

Accomplished Canadian visual artist Andrew Stelmack – and lifelong VB Golf Course member and VB summer resident --  has graciously created and donated this original artwork so that VB Golf Course may raffle it off and raise funds to do something special to celebrate the 100^th year of the Victoria Beach Golf Club!

Andrew is well known for his colourful abstracts and has also established a huge following for his cubist Marshmallow Skies series, exploring the large swaths of prairie skies and Lake Winnipeg.  You can see more of them here.

This new landscape, specifically painted for us, is his first golf landscape and first-ever with a marshmallow sun. Definitely a collector item!

The artwork depicts the ninth hole and is called COMING HOME or BREAKING 1OO!  It is 20x60” and is acrylic on canvas.

As well, Andrew wrote a novel on Canadian Golf great Moe Norman last year, which has been rated as one of the best golf books of 2022. Two signed copies of these will also be given away as prizes and you can otherwise purchase copies behind the desk at the course or on Amazon and Kindle.
